Ecart 5 keeps crashing (yosemite) when adding discount rule - how can I do it manually?

Hi, ecart 5 is crashing on me every time I try to add a discount rule, I am using yosemite on cs6 with the latest version of ecart 5. How can I add this discount manually to the code so that I can get it up and running ASAP? Thanks, I have included a screen shot of the discount.

there is not a simple way to add a discount manually, there are couple places where the code would need to be edited.

forward your FTP information and I can edit the eCart object file for you to add the discount in.

Thanks Jason,
Really appreciate the help. I don't have FTP access as the server is on AWS and deployed using GIT. So I have zipped the Ecart folder and uploaded it. I hope that will be alright.

Thanks Ray, is there any chance this issue will be fixed ? Does it exist in El Capitan as well do you know ?

I'm not familiar with the issue. This is the first I've seen it. If it is an eCart 5 issue, then I probably won't have a chance to fix it any time soon.

I just created the rule in eCart 6 and copied it over manually to your file. That might be a solution for you in the meantime if you have eCart 6.

I do have eCart 6 so if the structure for the discount rules is the same I'll just do that

thanks
