using 4 1 ecart with Dreamweaver CS3 - does it not work anymore? Maybe I am not creating things in the right order.

I created the ecart Object first. I created the Display Cart/Manager page to show the Part ID, Part Name, and Price. Then I went through the wizard. It created all the pages I would need. I thought it was working at first. I added the ADD TO CART buttons on my recordset. When I view cart, I only see the Part_ID passed over to the cart, but not the Part_Name or the Price. The price is zero. What is supposed to pass this info to the cart? I thought it was stored in the Session, but it is not working. The Add to Cart button has the bindings, and I bound the ID, Name, Price, etc to my database recordset with those fields. Why aren't they sending over to the Cart. Maybe I did things in the wrong order. Do you have a guide with the bullets of what order to do things in? It would be nice to know how it is supposed to work.

I am using Dreamweaver CS3, and Ecart 4.1.1. on Windows XP. I purchased CS6, but am daunted by converting the site over, and am afraid of messing up what is working. Surely a lot of people are still using CS3. However, your new cart is not compatible with DW CS3. Thank you for your help!

the order when using eCart is:

-Create the Cart Object
-Add the Add to Cart button to your pages.
-Create the Cart Display Page with the Display Manager on it.

Send a copy of the add to cart page please so i can see the code to troubleshoot.

found the Getting started guide

I found the eCart 4 Getting Started Guide. I will try again. I could not access it before, but found it in a pdf in the forums. It looks helpful.
