Can't update inventory

Get error that says, "This field should only contain image types"
Inventory is stuck at 21. Each time i update the inventory it just returns to 21. Also, updates to chaning images for same product stick 1/2 the time and the other it errors out with no error text, it just returns to the main/specific product page.
Thanks,
H
