Cannot create/edit menus

Cannot create/edit menus

I've tried everything I can think of and still get the following: Error initializing menu object (wa.generate.getMenuSettingsObject): ReferenceError: WASiteSculptor is not defined. No matter if I am trying to edit a current menu or create a new one.

I have deleted the cache, un-installed/re-installed Design Extension (1.2.0), Workspace Layout reset etc.. with no help.

Running windows 8.1, DW4, version 10.0, build 4117 and the latest WebAssist Suite (purchased end of Nov...)

I am confused.

Pretty sure this was fixed as a hot fix in Design Extender last week.

Close DW, and open the Extension Manager. in the extension manager uninstall Design Extender, then install it again.

When you open DW, the WebAssist installer should launch to finish the installation. If it does not launch automatically, open a php page to start it. When the WebAssist installer completes, make sure to restart DW.

Jason,

I've already done that a couple times now. Will try again this evening when I get home.

Jason, it did not work. Here is what I did. Had all programs closed. Opened Extension Manager. Removed WebAssist Design Extender. Then reinstalled. Made no difference - still fails. Next removed WebAssist Design Extender. Opened Dreamweaver and while executing WA_unInstall2.htm it failed at line 12. saying file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\Configuration\Floaters\WA_Installer2.html": curDOM has no properties.
Clicked on Ok and then X'd out of the Uninstaller. All other tools are now gone from the WebAssist Menu. However CSS Menu Builder is still in the site tools window (floaters). Guess what, now the menu builder works but I have lost all my other Design Extender tools. Not good. Plus I get the error everytime I start DW4. So, I've reinstalled Design Extender and my CSSmenu still fails with the WASiteSculptor is not defined error.

How do I fix?

IN the extension manager, what extensions occluding the version numbers are installed?

it sounds like there may be a conflicting extension installed.
