Blank Login Page

Just last week I created a set of Security Assist pages for a site without problem. Now, on another site (same server), I've spent 8 hours without luck. The latest problem is a blank login.php page. Plugging in the PHP error checking, I get:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ',' in helpergroupsrulesphp.php on line 8

Line 8 reads:

$comparisons[0] = array(TRUE, "".((isset($_GET['failedLogin'])) ."", 2, "");

I've deleted and recreated the pages 6 times.

there is a missing closing peren.

this code:
$comparisons[0] = array(TRUE, "".((isset($_GET['failedLogin'])) ."", 2, "");

should be:
$comparisons[0] = array(TRUE, "".((isset($_GET['failedLogin']))) ."", 2, "");
