cannot install extensions.

i have the current version of dreamweaver, but the error is "This extension can not be installed, it required Dreamweaver version 9 or greater." What do I do next?

sounds like you are double clicking the ZXP file to start the installation.

Save the ZXP file to your computer, then open the extension manager.

In the extension manager, click the install button, then browse to the saved ZXP file and select it to start the installation.

this worked for the Design Extender, but it doesn't work for databridge. Databridge doesn't even display when I locate it.

please provide more details, in what way does it not work?

what do you mean by:
"Databridge doesn't even display when I locate it."

What OS?

What DW Version?

Is the extension manager up to date?

I have downloaded databridge. When I open the Extention Manager, and select "Install" attempt to locate Databridge where I donwloaded it, it literally does not appear. Its there as I can see it on my desktop and downloads area, but cannot view it in extension manger.

Using win. 8.1. DW CC.

Ext. Manager is up to date.

make sure you downloaded the ZXP file for Data Bridge, and not the MXP file that is compatible with older DW versions. the extension manager won't show older MXP files.
