how to reload databridge extension

Am running DW CS6 on Mac OS X Yosemite. I have added the databridge extension using the extension manager. Unfortunately DW keeps crashing. I am working with your example from your "getting started with databridge tutorial". I think I have permanently deleted the "Security question" field in the form Simple contact. How do I reset or reload the databridge extension so I might recover from the crash and restore the field that I permanently deleted. Would appreciate a quick response. Thank you.

to Reload the Data Bridge extension, open the Extension Manager, uninstall data Bridge, then install it again.

when you open DW make sure the WebAssist installer runs to finish the installation, after the installation finishes, make sure to restart DW.

NOTE: There is bug IN DW 6 when running in Mac OS Yosemite that is causing a memory leak, this is most likely the cause of Data Bridge crashing on you. We are looking into finding a work around for this, but so far have not been successful.

Good to know there is a memory leak running on Mac OS Yosemite. This would explain what I've been experiencing. Should I give up on Mac OS Yosemite or is there a work around?. I have DW also installed on Windows. Does data bridge have any problem with Windows 8.1? I also have an option for Windows 7 ultimate. I would appreciate letting me know so that I save myself time by avoiding the OS with known problem. Crashing repeatedly in the middle of the development process is not fun. Thanks much.

We don't have a workaround for Mac Yosemite at this time. Windows 7 and 8 should be fine.
