get version 1.0.6

I installed the current version of free tools in CS6 and Paypal doesn't work. I deleted the Dreamweaver cache and it still doesn't work. I saw a post that said you should be running version 1.0.6 with CS6. Will this make it work? I don't see a way to get 1.0.6.

the most recent version of Free Tools is 1.1.2, it should be available for download from your account.

log into your account, on the MyAccount page, browse to the download section, it should be available there.

if you don't see it in your account, you can always add it to your account from the free told page:

make sure to uninstall the previous version from the extension manager before installing the newer one.

after you install the new version, when you open DW, it should launch the WebAssist installer. if the WebAssist installer does not launch automatically, open a php file to force it to launch. after the WebAssist installer completes, make sure to restart DW.

I'm not sure you get my question. The version I downloaded today does not work at all. WebAssist installer ran with no errors but none of the Web Assist menu selections actually do anything. In another thread you said: You should be using free Tools version 1.0.9 in DW CS6, make sure you have the correct version. If you have a previous version you will need to uninstall it from the extension manager and install the most recent.

Is this no longer the case? I restarted CS6, deleted the cache and restarted, still nothing.

the current version 1.1.2 is the one you should be using.

where the menu items are not working, it suggests the web assist installer did not run.

uninstall free tools from the extension manager, then install it again.

after you install the new version, when you open DW, it should launch the WebAssist installer. if the WebAssist installer does not launch automatically, open a php file to force it to launch. after the WebAssist installer completes, make sure to restart DW.
