Need to run an older eCart on CS4

Need to run an older eCart on CS4

In order to maintain new sites, and older sites I use 2 versions of Dreamweaver. My older version is currently CS4. In this version I run some older extensions, an eCart 5 was one of those. Since I have purchased eCart 6 eCart 5 will not authenticate on CS-4.

I have two installs... my desktop, and my laptop. I am not looking to install 5 on any other machines, just the same 2 I always use, and only into CS4.

Is there any way I can get my eCart 5 licenses to validate once again - without losing eCart 6 for CS6

There should not be a problem with activating eCart 5 as long as you are using the eCart 5 serial that can be found in your account.

make sure you are using the correct serial number to activate cart 5.

That might be where the problem is... eCart 5 cannot be found under my "archived products". All my other older products appear to be there, including eCart 4. I checked in "My Orders" and it looks like eCart 5 was purchased back on Aug 24th, 2010 - it's just not listed in my account anymore.

Could that be why I can't activate? Is there a reason why it's missing from my account?

It should be listed there now. What is the error you are getting on trying to activate?

Thanks Jason... this morning I was able to install eCart 5 and activate it. I don't remember the exact error I was getting before. When I put the serial number in I would get the green check mark, but it would fail when trying to activate.

Works now - I'm happy! Thanks!
