MySQLi Display Record Count Not Working

re: MySQLi Behaviors v1.0.3 on OSX 10.9.5 with DWCS6

I want to add a "Record 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3" capabitlity to a search-result form. Everything works fine until I try to add a Display Record Count - LastRecord, then I get a "Error in SQL Syntax". I notice that my MySQLi record set changes the variable from "?" (working) to a "%s" (broken) after I apply the LastRecord behavior. How do I fix this?

Also, The MySQLi Recordset Paging menu is not showing "Next' - only "Previous" is shown as an option in the dropdown. I copied a similar code block from a previously built site using MySQLi v1.0.2 and the copied code works perfectly on the page - The code installed via the dropdown on MySQLi 1.0.3 fails (see attached NextPrevious codeblock.txt). I can't install a similar paging function using the 1.0.3 MySQLi GUI? How do I fix this?

(I am attaching files to demo these concerns).

I'll log a bug on the ? getting changed to %s, for now, you will need to manually change that back

I Have also logged a bug that the all of the paging behaviors list Previous as the link, but I am not able to reproduce a problem with the paging not working, do you have a link where I can see the paging code not working?
