What is your OS?

What version of DW are you using?

What Extensions are installed occluding the version numbers?

it sounds like you may have old versions of the extensions installed.

OS Windows 8.1
DW CC 2014.1
Extensions: DataBridge 121 eCart 610 design extender 120 MySqli 103
I do have both DW CC and DW CC 2014.1 installed..I hate to unstall one if I donj't need to. DW CC 2014.1 is a 64 bit program.

Make sure you have the all updates for the extension manager installed, then try uninstalling Design Extender from the extension manger and install it again.

The extension manager is up to date. I have removed and re-installed the extension. I thought that problem might lie with shared files. ( I'm an Adobe Cloud subscriber) I uninstalled DW CC. After uninstalling DW CC i removed the extension and re-installed it. I rebooted the PC after all of these actions. I am still get the same msg when I try to use CS Menu writer. It happens when I try to add a dynamic link,up until that time the extension works well. Attached is the error msg I receive.

We have done a hot fix update to Design Extender to fix this issue.

uninstall it, then install it again.

when you open DW, make sure the WebAssist installer runs to complete the installation. if the WA installer does not launch automatically, open a PHP page to force to to start.

Restart DW after the WA Installer completes

I hope you don't mind me piggy-backing this thread, but I have a similar issue.

Recently, I installed the updated version of Design Extender but now get the following error when I try to edit a menu (see image)

I have tried removing and reinstalling DE but to no affect. Is this a known error; is there a fix?
