Documentation confusion; lists not populating.

Documentation confusion; lists not populating.

The reason I was doing the update was to use Dynamic Dropdowns and I've run into a snag. The documentation under Populate List from Array (Step 5), says "From the Array source menu, choose the Child table." I only have the parent recordset available to me and after selecting that, neither list seems to populate.

Am I doing something wrong? I've attached the test file I'm using as well as two SQL files for rebuilding the tables. You'll note one little oddity. I'm using linking the UPC column as a foreign key to link child table (recipes) to parent (products). Hopefully that will still work.

Thanks again.

1) in the Create Dynamic Array behavior, use the recipe table instead of the products table, the products is used to populate the parent list, so recipes will be used top populate the child list

in the Dynamic array, the up column will be the parent ID, the Recipe Name will be the Child label and the recipe ID will be the child value.

2) in the products drop down, use the UPC column as the value since that is the column you are using for the relation ship

3) after changing the dynamic array settings, you will need to re apply the populate list from array behavior.
