MDB2 Error: insufficient permissions

MDB2 Error: insufficient permissions

Affected URL: http://ipcoa.net
GoDaddy Hosting: PHP v5.4.31, MySQL v5.5.35-cll-lve

I've never had this error before on any of my GoDaddy sites. All my database-driven PHP pages open and work fine but I get this error when I click on the "Browse Server" button in HTMLEditor. Everything works perfectly on my development (localhost) server. Any ideas where I need to change permissions or what config is set incorrectly?

Error
MDB2 Error: insufficient permissions
connect: [Error message: Could not select the database: COA] [Native code: 1044] [Native message: Access denied for user 'coarjr'@'localhost' to database 'COA'] ** mysql(mysql)://coarjr:xxx@localhost/COA

You need to edit the database connection to connect to the remote MySQL server.

Insufficient Permissions

I've tried every fix I know but I am still getting this error:

Error
MDB2 Error: insufficient permissions
connect: [Error message: Could not select the database: COA] [Native code: 1044] [Native message: Access denied for user 'coarjr'@'localhost' to database 'COA'] ** mysql(mysql)://coarjr:xxx@localhost/COA

Could you please elaborate what you mean by "You need to edit the database connection to connect to the remote MySQL server." so I can understand how to fix this?

In the connections folder is a connection file that contains the information for connecting to the database.

it contains the MySQL Host address, the username and password and the name of the database.

these settings need to be edited to the correct settings for connecting to the database.

If you are unsure of the correct settings for connecting to the database, contact your host.

Insufficient Permissions

I understand what you're saying now - I was wasn't following you at first. I'll check the connection script again and see if there is anything in there that could be causing this error.

Update... I had the database name in uppercase in the connection script and in lower case on the server's MySQL setup. Evidently, LAMP is case sensitive!

As always, thanks for your prompt response.
