Error in serialCheck: TypeError: WA_SiteImport.checkSerial is not a function

Error in serialCheck: TypeError: WA_SiteImport.checkSerial is not a function

Since the most recent Dreamweaver update (Dreamweaver CC 2014.1), I'm getting an error message while starting Site Import. It doesn't get to the dialog box where the site is entered. I know it worked in the previous version. Is there something I can try to get it working?

There's a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in the error message and the text is below.

Error in serialCheck: TypeError:

WA_SiteImport.checkSerial is not a function

Same here, Richard. Running both CC 2014.1 and CS6. Let me know if you manage to solve the problem.

The issue in DW CC 2014.1 is a bug that is effecting our serialization. We have reported the Issue to adobe and have started working on work around to get this issue sorted as quickly as possible. we hope to start releasing updates for CC 2014.1 compatibility by the end of the week., though that update may not encompase OS X Yosemite.

Codesnap:

your issue in CS6 specific to OS X Yosemite which is still in beta.

When it is officially released, we will evaluate our extensions for compatibility, and release updates as necessary.

Thanks - although this is occurring on Windows 8.1. I should have included that in the first message - apologies!

There are 2 issues going on:

1 is a bug in Dreamweaver 2014.1 that we are working on updates to fix, this is the one you are experiencing.

The other is the Mac OS X Yosemite Beta issue that was reported by Codesnap.
