mysqli SB extension activation problem

I have a clean install of DW CC(2014) + Server Behavior Panel on Windows 7. I just purchased the WA mysqli SB extension and installed it as per directions. Restarted DW, etc. Proceeded to "Getting Started" tutorial. Step 1: Make page OK and Create DB mysqli Connection. Test OK.
Step 2: Create Recordset: PROBLEM: A Pop-up windows appears and then immediately disappears. I am expecting the mysqli Recordset pop-up but this could be the activation window which up to now has never appeared. Restarted DW same problem. Uninstalled and reinstalled extension - same problem. Please advise.

The installation works in DW CS5.5 so this must be an issue with the latest DW CC(2014) release as mentioned/answered on 10/09/2014 by Jason Byrnes.

YEs, this probably the bug in DW cc 2014.1 that we have found, we are working on correcting the problem, i will update this thread when i have more information.

FYI:

I have found that it is possible to install earlier versions of the creative cloud apps through the Creative Cloud Desktop Manager, this will allow you to install DW CC until we can update the extensions for CC 2014.1:

Thanks for the tip. Perhaps, as I am running the 30 day trial version of DW at the moment, this option is not available. I could only find Previous Versions of the extension manager. DW was not listed. I am really looking forward to using the Query Builder.

Not sure if thous is specific to the DW trial or not, you should contact Adobe Support for help on this.

We are hoping to start having updates available by next week.

I contacted Adobe support and they sent me a link to download the previous version. (see below)

But apparently my Creative Cloud interface still installs the latest version DW 2014.1 (Build 6947). So this did not help me.
As I only had one program (DW) and not the entire CC suite - the previous version tip that Jason mentioned apparently did not work for me.

Adobe:
Please open this link and select the option which says “What happens to Dreamweaver CC 2014 version after the update?”
http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/installing-latest-update-dreamweaver-cc.html

Dreamweaver CC 2014 is replaced with the latest update to Dreamweaver CC 2014 (2014.1 release).
If you want to use Dreamweaver CC 2014 for any reason, download it from the following locations:

Adobe support said:

"And regarding the compatibility of your webassist extension I am quite sure that our engineering team is working on it and by the time the next update."

Who knows when that will happen....

Yes, the MySQLi 1.0.3 was released yesterday to address compatibility issues with Dreamweaver CC 2014.1

We have also released Data Bridge 1.2.1 to address compatibility and working on eCart now and then design Extender and Free Tools.
