All updates for CW CC 2014.1 Compatibility have been completed

We have encountered a bug with the new Dreamweaver CC 2014.1 upgrade that was released. It is causing errors in our serialization process at start up.

We are working as quickly as possible to fix the problem, but until it can be fixed, you should not install this new version.

Hi Jason,

Can you please let us know what is broken in Dreamweaver CC 2014.1 that is causing your serialization to fail, we would be happy to look into it.

Thanks

Hi Mike, it looks like a problem with the libraries for C+ extensibility, Please contact our President, Ray Borduin for further details:

I Know he has tried contacting people at Adobe over the past couple of weeks, but none of his emails have been responded to

Beta products for partners

Please Adobe, for the future versions open a dedicated channel for your partners... Macromedia usually sent beta products theirs partners to test new features before to lunch for all.

We are all here to work, not to lost time and money!

My two cents.

We are working on updates as quickly as possible, in the mean time:

I have found that it is possible to install earlier versions of the creative cloud apps through the Creative Cloud Desktop Manager, this will allow you to install DW CC until we can update the extensions for CC 2014.1:

I guess all the presets should be backuped first, or all the work will be overwritted with the "new" "old" installation?!

Yes, you should back up the presets.

Yosemite upgrade caution

You should also be aware that, if upgrading to Yosemite on a Mac, a further installation of Java for OS X 2014-001 will be required for CS5.5 (and possibly earlier) to work. This is easily accomplished, but causes an unwelcome further interruption in production time if unexpected.

What is the status of this bug fix? When can I expect to keep on working with WA software? Thanks.
