Looks like this is a bug in the New Dreamweaver Upgrade for 2014.1 that is effecting our serialization. We have reported the Issue to adobe and have started working on work around to get this issue sorted as quickly as possible. I Will update this thread when i have more information.

In the 2014.1 update, the libraries for C+ extensibility are no longer working. These are libraries that we have used Since Dreamweaver MX when it was still Macromedia.

We have tried contacting Adobe about the problem but have not gotten a response.

We are trying to find a way to work around it and will have dot releases available as soon as possible.

FYI:

I have found that it is possible to install earlier versions of the creative cloud apps through the Creative Cloud Desktop Manager, this will allow you to install DW CC until we can update the extensions for CC 2014.1:

Thanks for an update. Unfortunetly in my case it has created more problems than it resolved. Unable to locate CC2014 decided to uninstall extensions in CS6 and reinstall extensions after removing the WinFileCashe. Following reinstall and activation this error now arrives. I would really like to be able to get back to work in CC2014.1 which I have not been able to do since 10 days ago

This errors look like the WA Installer did not launch after installing the extensions in the extenson manager.

The Process for installing extensions is:
Install the extension in the extensions manager

Open Dreamweaver to launch the WebAssist installer. If the installer does not open automatically, open a php page to trigger.

After the WebAssist installer completes, restart Dreamweaver.

We hope to start having updates available by the end of the week.

Jason, I'm totally frustrated. Regardless of how many times I uninstall and reinstall the extensions in Dreamweaver CS6 I'm still get an angry component that requires closing dozens of times at every element as the script attempts to execute. This is now the 22nd Oct and i still cannot use and have not been able to use any of the Webassist extensions since the 8th Oct. Are you guys serious about customer support?
