Shipping costs not working

Thread began 8/25/2009 1:28 pm by larsentim278054 | Last modified 2/16/2010 3:22 pm by Andre.M | 3523 views | 10 replies |

Shipping costs not working

I've enabled UPS shipping in the globals file, got a ups account, and developers key, and access key from UPS. But when I add things to the cart and go to checkout, it doesn't add any shipping costs.

What am I doing wrong??

EDIT: This has been resolved. thank you!

That is great to hear that you got it worked out, if you would please post back with what action you took to resolve the problem so that others may benefit from your experience.

Well, like I said in a previous thread - (I had two problems, payment process wasn't working and shipment costs weren't being added, but they were related and the same problem).

I am using UPS shipping, and the Access Key I got From UPS was for their HTML process, not their XML process, which is apparently what you need for Powerstore. So once I switched the html access key to an xml access key (its just a different number) in the globals file, everything worked out fine.

Same problem but doesn't work more with the XML Access Key

Hi, I have the same problem but I can't find the solution. UPS SHipping doesn't show shipping costs.

In sp_ps_globals_2.pdf it is said...

$WAGLOBAL_UPS_Account = "";
•
Enter your UPS Account details.
$WAGLOBAL_UPS_Password = "";
•
Enter your UPS account password.
$WAGLOBAL_UPS_AccessKey = "";
•
Enter the UPS Access Key provided to you by UPS.
$WAGLOBAL_UPS_ShipperNo = "";
•
Enter the Shipper Number provided to you by UPS.

OK ... I need 4 things from UPS
1- Enter your UPS Account details. ( IS this my UPS account user? )
2- Enter your UPS account password. ( this my UPS password )
3- Enter the UPS Access Key provided to you by UPS. ( this is the UPS xml access key )
4- Enter the Shipper Number provided to you by UPS. ( is this a ten digit number ? )

Hope You can help me.

Thanks

The shipper number (for me) was the same thing as my account number. The reason it wasn't working for me was because I was using the HTML key, not the XML key. Once I changed it to the XML key, it worked fine.

In the interface that you posted I believe it would be in the manage access keys section. From here you should be able to request the xml key that you need.
