Changing payment gateway

I built a site 2-3 years ago using ecart5 and paypal as the payment gateway.

The client would now like to consider authorize.net as a gateway instead.

What is the best/easiest way to go about this, (I am now using ecart 6)

make a back up of the site first.

edit the eCart object and click the OK button to have it regenerated

delete the existing checkout pages, and rerun the checkout wizard to recreate the checkout pages using the new gateway.
