passing session variables

I have tried using the wizrard to Create Security Pages but it keeps hanging up (see Grab1 and Grab2 attached).

I then tried to add Authenticate User to a page and that seems to work fine except i dont seem to be passing any session variables. two pages attached - can you see why the variables dont appear>

ideally i would have liked to have used the Creaste Security Pages wizard but the error messages coming out of that are scaring the hell out of me and i need to get this site up pdq so i think the second issue is probably more expedient?

thanks guys

for the errors, try disabling the preview:
WebAssist -> Preferences

in the preview section, select the option to disable the preview.

Or you may need to uninstall Data Bridge and install it again.

Fot the home page not showing the session variables, make sure to start the session. add the following at line 1:

<?php @session_start(); ?>

regardless, you can continue using the pages you have created, you just need to start the session on the page where you ant to show the session variable:

What version of Data Bridge do you have installed?

try uninstalling data Bridge and installing v1.2.0

also, Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:

I would still try uninstalling it and then installing it again.

What extensions including the version numbers are installed?

try recreating the users configuration folder as outlined in step 12 of the Adobe troubleshooting guide:
http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/troubleshoot-javascript-errors-dreamweaver-cs4.html#main_user_config

the installing all extensions and reinstalling them.
