setting up power cms admin

I've set up PowerCMS on a site and am having trouble getting the PowerCMS admin setup. When I click on "Edit in PowerCMS", I'm taken to my website's 404 error page with this URL http://www.csotte.com/install_cms/database.php. If I enter http://www.csotte.com/admin_cms in a new browser window, I'm taken to the same website, http://www.csotte.com/install_cms/database.php. I need some help troubleshooting the issue. No doubt it's an easy fix but I don't have a clue as to where to look for the missing link or files. At one point I was able to get to the setup wizard. In Step 1, all the components returned green check that everything was set up and connecting. In Step 2 I entered my serial number, but that's as far as I got before the same error was returned. http://www.csotte.com/install_cms/database.php.

Sounds like the Go Daddy security issue, see this thread for an updated copy of the install_cms/database.php file:

I replaced the database.php file and reached step 3 in the PowerCMS Wizard.. I'm attaching a screen print of the error I received under Database Information "You have already completed this step."

it is trying to create the power cms tables but they already exist.

edit the Database and delete any tables whose name begins with pcms2_

I deleted the pcms2_ tables. When editing the the region in Dreamweaver, clicking on Edit in PowerCMS, I was able to enter my PowerCMS user name and password but it returned the error in attachment #2. Another attempt returned the error in attachment #3. I deleted the database entirely and set up a new one, with the same user name and password, and received the error in attachment #4.

for the first 2 errors, add the attached files to the WA_Globals directory.

the third error means that the MySQL server is not accepting the username and password you have used for the connection, double check with the host for the correct connection information, normally the connection should not use an IP address, and update the connections/PowerCMSConnection.php file with the correct information.

I copied the files from the Archive zip folder and uploaded to the Remote server. I was taken to the Power CMS login in at this URL. See attachment 8. http://www.csotte.com/admin_cms/users_login.php?accesscheck=%2Fadmin_cms%2Fcontents_update.php%3FContentID%3D4

The problem is that when I click the Login button, I'm returned to the same login window. The URL changes to http://www.csotte.com/admin_cms/users_login.php?accesscheck=%2Fadmin_cms%2Fcontents_update.php%3FContentID%3D4.

I successfully log into MySQL with the same credentials. Tables have been created in MySQL. See attachment 9.

I'll need to troubleshoot directly, see the private message section.
