MySQLi for Data-Bridge

What's the estimated timeline on MySQLi's integration into Data-Bridge?

any news ?

Got long teeth working with your new MySQLi extension. Such a great work and really needed.
I am planning a new site and wondering if I should wait for the DB / MySQLi update or not.

I still do not have a time frame for when a Data Bridge will be available to support MySQLi.

Rather than start a new thread, this one seems as good a place to ask as any.

When Data Bridge does get upgraded that will be good for new projects to use mySQLi, but I've had in the back of my mind what might be the best workflow (if there even really is one) to update old non MySQLi projects to MySQLi.

Would it be practical to update existing pages to MySQLi, or only really practical to redo them from scratch?

Or could this readily be done using the mySQLi Extension behaviour already released?

Ray is talking about creating a migration tool, but it really to soon to tell what the upgrade path will be as the final feature set is not complete and the tool is not yet released.

Thanks Jason, and no problem - I'm just thinking aloud really about what the options might be.

Cant really say what the options will be until they are developed. it's to soon to be able to offer an answer.

We are targeting first quarter of next year. we got a little delayed with the release of DW CC 2014.1 and the needed updates.
