Odd search result

A user has reported that they haven't been able to find their property in a search on a site.

The site is here:

http://www.safariawards.com

The search term is:

mahali mzuri (all lower case)

The odd thing is that it works for me here (in Safari, Firefox and Chrome on a Mac.)

Also odd is that the person can find:

camp kalahari (all lower case) - another two word, all lower case example.

And they can find:

mahali on its own without the mzuri.

And they can find:

Mahali mzuri

I imagine it will work for you there, as this is the first such report of this.

And to confirm it isn't a typo, they sent a screenshot that I have attached here.

I think this might be an odd one with no obvious explanation, but you might be able to think of something. All I can think of is that 'mz' is an unusual combination, and something in some local settings is randomly not liking it for some reason?

the only way i can reproduce this is to either us 2 spaces:
mahali  mzuri

or to add a trailing space on the end:
mahali mzuri

maybe they are copying and pasting the name and copying an extra trailing space into the search field?

that's about all I can think of.

Nope - she is adamant that she is typing it in with no spaces.

Think this one might just need to be written off as inexplicable!

That was the only way i could reproduce it, if you can give steps that i can use to reproduce the problem, I can troubleshoot, otherwise, i have nothing to go on.

I know she uses Chrome (although it didn't work in IE for her either). I've emailed her to ask her to do the following:

- open Chrome

- select Clear Browsing Date from the Chrome menu

- make sure the following are ticked:

Cookies and other site and plug-in data

Cached images and files

Auto fill form data

- Click on the Clear Browsing Data button

- Quite Chrome

- Reopen Chrome

- Browse to www.safariawards.com

- Try searching for ‘Mahali Mzuri’ with no quotes.
