Issues with Database Starter Kit for PHP

My issues are that I get to the point where the tutorial is asking to click on the Windows or Mac button to set up the MySQL and PHP, but I can't get the tutorial going from that point. Can anyone help me pass this issue. Thanks in advance.

On Window XP. When I get to the point where it's going to show how to setup MySQL. I receive an error with the Flash player I think. I went to the Adobe site and accepted the URL, but still it does not show me anything, am I doing something wrong?

Can you try setting it to always allow and then clear your cache for the browser and restart the browser and then try it again?

I received this error while try to play the start.html SecurityError: Error #2121: Security sandbox violation: Loader.content: file:///C:/Documents and Settings/The Creative One/Desktop/DBSK_PHP/Database_Starter_Kit_PHP/start.swf cannot access file:///C:/Documents and Settings/The Creative One/Desktop/DBSK_PHP/Database_Starter_Kit_PHP/01 Overview.swf. This may be worked around by calling Security.allowDomain.

Hello, I have try installing PHP and I followed everything to the letter from the web development: before you begin pdf. How can I tell if PHP is working. In the address bar I have typed phpinfo.php, but still nothing happens. I need to know if I am doing this correctly, or do I need to download something else in order to make this happen. Can I use WAMP or XAMPP instead of doing everything manually?

You will need to create a phpinfo.php page and put it in the root of your server. The phpinfo.php should have this line of code in it:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>

You can use WAMP or XAMPP to setup if you like, however, we don't have this documented.

Are you running a debug version of flashplayer?

when I download the folders and I open one of the video files, the whole page goes crazy and goes from one page to another very fast. I have a windows xp computer . I also tried it on my vista laptop and still the same thing. I then tried to download the pdf document for it and still the same thing. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Before you attempt to use the tutorial videos you will need to follow the instructions in the read me. You will need to extract the folders and video files to the proper locations before you can make use of them. As for the PDF I'm not sure that I understand what you are stating the problem is, please post back and include a little more detail about the issue you are experiencing with the PDF.
