msqli update caused it to dissapear

First, let me apologize for replying to your announcement. Thanks for the response. I removed the server behaviors, then added the deprecated behavior and then mysqli behavior from web assist. I have nothing now. I even removed my configuration folder and started from scratch. I'm totally at a loss here. Any advice would be much appreciated. Here's what I was told to do already:

"In future, you should start a new thread with your problem rather than responding to an announcement.

When installing a new update of an extension, you should first uninstall the previous version from the extension manager.

It sounds like you have DW CC, in DWW CC, you also need to install the depricated server behaviors extension.

For DW CC 2014:

For DW CC:

Thanks

what version of dreamweaver?

DW CC? or CC 2014?

Make sure you have the latest updates for the extension manager installed.

When you open the extension manager, do you see the MySQLi server behaviors listed?

After installing the MySQLi extension, when you open DW, it should launch the WebAssist installer. if it does not launch the WebAssist installer automatically, open a php page to trigger it, make sure to restart DW after the WebAssist installer completes.

DW CC

Yes it is in the extension manager. I have removed it and reinstalled from the package. It shows in the list and is checked.

I reopen dreamweaver and a php gets opened but the installer never pops up.

If the WebAssist installer is not triggering, uninstall it then install it once more.

I did a bunch of times already. Just tried it again per your instructions and still don't get a popup. Should I try installing another web assist behavior to see what happens?

sure, you can try installing Data Bride or another extension.

Ok I attempted with free tools since that's the only other "new" extension I have. No go. Then I converted csswriter to zxp and installed that. I still can't find any webassist extensions when I load up dreamweaver. Side note: I'm running mavericks on the mac. But I just don't feel like that should matter. But I did want to mention it.
