can I add java script through CMS

I have a client site that has an event booking calendar. They can log on and create a new event and then copy the code to insert into the webpage. Works on both .html and .php pages. So I thought that if I created a CMS page they would be able to add/change the events as they needed to. But when I go into CMS admin and paste the code into the source of a cms page the code does not work. Should this be able to work?

depends on the script you are trying to add.

can you give an example of the script you are trying to add?

also, when adding the javascript code, you need to go to source code view of the CMS region.

OK, I got it figured out. I cannot see the events calendar through the CMS when the CMS Admin is open. But once I paste the code and then log out of admin it will work. When I do that and then go to the page I can see the events calendar.

In the webassist/ckedtor/config.js file, try adding:

config.allowedContent=true;

in the editor config function
