How do I create category titles in Powestore 4, I've read the post 'Category titles' but I'm still struggling with it?

I've got Powerstore running at with a new template that I've created. On the products page I would like to display the title of the currently selected category and also a menu of items within that category on the left (I've styled this but it doesn't yet work).
I've read the post category titles but I'm struggling with it. I'm working with this on a live site rather than locally. Can you give me some step by step instructions please.

This is not a simple update in pOwer store 4,

Power Store 4 uses an ajax function call to populate the results, so the Ajax code would need to be edited.

The post you are reading is probably for Power Store 3.

This sort of modification is beyond what we offer support for here in the public forum, we can help you implement this change through our premier support appointment:

Implementing category titles in Powerstore 4

Thanks Jason, ok great, I'll raise a premier support request.

UPDATE: Just got off a support call with Ray which was excellent. He accomplished everything I was after. Thanks Ray!
