How do I retain form checkbox group selections upon validation failure?

I have four (4) checkbox groups I would like to have user checkbox selections retained upon a capture validation failure. I have reviewed your tutorial - http://www.webassist.com/forums/posts.php?id=25800, but with no success.

I am currently using the WA Validation Form bindings to return form data upon validation failure. The only form data that is not returning are my checkbox groups.

I have attached my php file for your review. Thank you in advance for your time and review.

Checkbox groups will require some hand coding to accomplish, since the values are passed as an array.

so, a multiple checkbox sends the selected items as an array. I added the following code at line 1 to convert the array to a comma seperated list:

if($_SERVER["REQUEST_METHOD"] == "POST")     {
    foreach($_POST as $key => $val) {
        if(is_array($_POST[$key])) $_POST[$key] = implode(", ", $_POST[$key]);
    }
}
?>

i updated the first 2 checkboxes of the HRServices section to demonstrate this, i added the following code to convert the comma separated list back to an array:

<?php $HRselected = explode(", ", ValidatedField("quote_563","HRServices")); ?>

then in the ceckbox, added in array to see if the cherckbox value is part of the array:

<?php if(in_array("HR Coaching and Consultation", $HRselected)) echo("checked=\"checked\""); ?>

<input name="HRServices[]" type="checkbox" value="HR Coaching and Consultation" id="CheckboxGroup1_0" <?php if(in_array("HR Coaching and Consultation", $HRselected)) echo("checked=\"checked\""); ?>><div class="pro_text-form3 fleft">HR Coaching and Consultation</div>

I noticed a line of code just after the pages <footer>:

Should this be removed? How is this to be treated?
