Pay Pal says I need to talk to you about adding Authorize / Capture features on Cafe' Commerce's side ???

I am going to be posting items on my website that are custom ordered. As such, I'd like to delay charging a customer's credit card until I am ready to ship the product, but I still want it authorized. When I called Pay Pal, they said that it would have to be a feature call from the 3rd party shopping cart. I've never heard this before. I've always understood it to be a function on Pay Pal's side of the processing.

Do you have any information on how I go about having Cafe' Commerce make this call out or is Pay Pal giving me the wrong information?

Thank You!

Cafe commerce does not have support for authorizing the transaction and processing at ta later date, this is not a feature that can be implemented in Cafe Commerce.

So Pay Pal is correct? This has to be set up on the website / shopping cart side?
