PayFlow - Credentials

We're using PayPal PayFlow Pro but in the wizard, WA asks for 4 pieces of info when that is selected: Partner, Merchant Login, User and Password.
If I try using the live manager.paypal.com credentials, it fails. If I use the test credentials using my sandbox account on PayPal, they don't offer those 4 credentials, just the 3 credentials: Username, Password and Signature.

There are just too many places this could go wrong and any insight into this would be appreciated.

For the partner, enter PayPal, the other information is available in your payflow pro account.

I'd like to use the sandbox account just to make sure it's not going through our regular account but none of their tests allow me to specify payflow. It all seems to be geared for PayPal Payments Pro.

Payflow and Payments pro are basically the same, just different labels. Wokflow is the same.

I wish Paypal would just figure out what Program they want to go with.

Anyways, Nothing works. I just get directed to the checkout failed page with no indication what actually happened. Any Ideas?

on the checkout failure page, add the following code in the body:

<?php @session_start(); var_dump($_SESSION); ?>

this will write the session contents including the response from paypal, the response will have details on why the failure occurred.

I dont understand the question, at the heart, payflow and payments pro are pretty much the same, but they require different connection details.

Payments pro is actually 2 services, Direct Payments and Express Checkout.

Payflow pro is only the direct payments implementation.
