Adding a rotator to the homepage

Is it possible to replace the banner on the homepage of powerstore with a 3rd party rotator? My client wants to put sponsored ads in this area... See PM

We don't support 3rd party rotators, but you can use the built in gallery functionality to add a gallery to the home page.

The Slideshow + Wide gallery type is similar to rotator, it rotates through the images in the selected gallery.

I'm sure that would work well. How would I replace the present static image in the banner space with that slide show?

Use the content management to edit the header and add the gallery using the gallery toolbar button in the content management.

Worked. Thanks!!! Is it possible to add a hyperlink to any of the images within the gallery?

yes, you can add links in the image description, just use single quotes for the href attribute:

<a href='plugins/page.php'>link text</a>
