MySQLi and DataAssist Search issue

YAY :-) I just upgraded to MySQLi and updated DataBridge and eCart to the newest available versions.
So far all seems to run fine with DataBridge except for DataAssistSearch.

When I call DataAssistSearch from the Server Behaviors I get following message:

Please insert a Recordset to use Database Search

However I have an MySQLi Recordset defined.

Did I miss out on anything for using the new MySQLi Recordsets?

Nearly forgot to mention: You folks did a great job with the new MySQLi Server Behaviors and the new Query Builder

I have the same issue if I use a MySQLi recordset. However this does not happen if I use old Dreamweaver recordset behaviors. DataBridge 1.2 evidently does not recognize the MySQLi recordset structure.

Something similar happens to Security Assist features when using Dynamic MySQLi Database Connections.
I can only select Dynamic MySQL connections but not MySQLi connections :-(

The curent versions of Data Bridge, Design Extender and eCart are not MySQLi compliant.

The MySQLi recordsets cannot be used in pages created by Data Bridge, Design Extender or eCart.

Now that MySQLi is released, that is the next project, to upgrade Data Bridge design Extender and eCart to also be MySQLi compliant. That is a large project though and will take some time to complete.

Thanks for fast reply, looks like I did misunderstood the DataBridge 1.2.0 - , eCart 6.0.7 -, Design Extender 1.1.9 - and Free Tools 1.1.1 Release Notes which mention: Updated for compatibility with MySQLi Server Behaviors.

Anyhow the MySQLi Extension is great, so I look forward to the upgrade of DataBridge and eCart to MySQLi :-)

MySQLi SB works great also now with ecart 6.0.8 So it's just a matter of time until DataBridge is updated too.
In the meantime I already made some Websites completely with MySQLi SB and some others with MySQLi and DataBridge running side by side
when DataBridge specific features where needed.
Thanks to the folks at Webassist to make some great products combined with an unparalleled support.
