Responsive confirmation email

Responsive confirmation email

I have created a store with ecart 6, and have a question about the confirmation email.

Whereas the cart display is responsive, the email confirmation doesn't appear to be.

For example, I notice the thumbnail has the class .eC_ProductThumb throughout the checkout process, and this class is applied on wa_receipt.php

I have changed the image source so that the a full server path is used, so the image now appear in the confirmation email, but it is far too big, as the class is not being applied.

I tried adding the relevant lines from the stylesheet within <style> tags, but this has no effect.

Can I practically resize the thumbnail (and prefereably the rest of the mail) to reflect the browser using the template created by the checkout wizard

Email clients do not support responsiveness.

In the case of an image, you should not use styles to set size, but rather the height and width attributes of the image tag.

Ok, thanks Jason,

I was hoping I could get a bit more creative, but there you go.

I'll set a width and be done with it.
