Creating custom designs and using templates

I am wondering if there is a step by step process i should be maybe resorting to for these tools for making the most out of the sites i am trying to create. Im talking just on the design aspect not even the CMS, havnt gotten that far and dont want to bother if i cant figure out how to get a good looking site started.

I need to start pumping out some professional looking sites for customers but the templates given in site sculptor are not going to awe any customers at least with my skill set to try and personalize them.

Is there a way i should be going at using the super suite tools in a step by step manner that i can make the most out of the resources i am given, for example i can get templates from Dreamweaver to go through but they get messed up and are never the full template partly because of the need for having site sculptor put in a menu. My other problem is my footer always gets cut off. (could this be because i have to rethink the editable regions, i mean do i have to be very precise when creating them?)

I guess i am all over the place and not sure where i should really be starting, please direct me in a step by step basis how to use these tools efficiently for my success.

Also i think im gonna need the phone call since i am a new customer who hasn't received one yet,

763-516-0494 Erik

Thanks!

There is no _one_ step by step guide for using the tools.

There is no _one_ way to approach them. The closest we have to what you are asking is the web development workflow tutorial:

If you are having trouble with the templates you already have working in site sculptor, it is most likely a problem with not configuring them properly before importing to site sculptor. We have the following tutorial here with details on creating a template that will work with site sculptor:

When would be a good time to contact you by phone? I am available 9am - 4pm Monday - Friday EST
