Google Search PATH not seen

Hi, I've tried using virtual and require_once. Using virtual, the search page gives an error on the first line Fatal error: Call to undefined function virtual() in /usr/home/autox9bf/public_html/pavers/search.php on line 1
But when changed to require once, then chokes on the wa_google_search.php. So I changed that to require once as well, but no matter how I adjust the path as relative, /, ../, or ../../, etc I get this error:
Warning: require_once(webassist/google/search/object/wa_google_search.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/home/username/public_html/pavers/webassist/google/search/plugins/search_custom_search_3.php on line 1

I Note that the file should be looking for it in: webassist/google/search/object/wa_google_search.php"

I'll need to troubleshoot directly, see the private message section.

the error references this line in the webassist/google/search/plugins/search_custom_search_3.php:
<?php require_once("webassist/google/search/object/wa_google_search.php"); ?>

it needs to move down 4 directories to find the webassist folder.
<?php require_once("../../../../webassist/google/search/object/wa_google_search.php"); ?>

Whew... I thought it was three, which I tried. Thanks Jason.. BTW, it works sort of , but can't find anything on the site like paver or unilock... which are all over the pages... ?

make sure that you have enabled the search API in your google account and that you have created the search engine.

see this tutorial for details:

Hi, first of all, my mistake. I thought using the map api was what was required. Second, rather than redo the search feature, I attempted to add it in the search custom search string manually... (see private). The strings are correct, but still I'm not getting any results. Do I need to add the js script to every page, or just wait until the site is indexed? FYI: I did not copy the js script because the steps did not say to do that, and now I can't find the script in the search panel!

I add ed a var dump of the session to the search page, and it is returning an error that the request is malformed or illegal:

array(3) { ["WAGS_S_custom_search"]=> string(4) "test" ["last_WAGS_search_1_10"]=> string(4) "test" ["last_WAGS_result_1_10"]=> string(1419) "
400. That’s an error.

Your client has issued a malformed or illegal request. That’s all we know. " }

Looking at your code, there is a script tag where the search ID should be. see private message:
