How To Download PayPal eCommerce Toolkit

On 8/22/2009, at 12:46 am, I ordered a copy of the PayPal eCommerce Toolkit, but have not been able to download either it, or the PayPal eCommerce Toolkit Recipes.

When I point IE 7 to productdownload.php?DetID=XXXXXX, click the 'Extensions' button, and then click either the 'PayPal eCommerce Toolkit 4.5.3 (1,185 Kb)' or 'PayPal eCommerce Toolkit Recipes 1.0.0 (2,759 Kb)' links, the standard Windows download box pops up stating, "Getting File Information:
productdownload.php from". But after about a minute, without any data appearing to download, an alert box pops up stating, "Internet Explorer cannot download productdownload.php from Internet Explorer was not able to open the Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."

It has now been over two hours since I began trying to download this software. Are my difficulties due to a problem with the systems at your end, or am I doing something wrong when attempting to download the software I have ordered?

PayPal eCmmerce Toolkit Download Problem

Problem solved.

The links on the download page were sending me to an https connection, for the productdownload.php... page.

When I forced this to an http connection, as in productdownload.php..., the download worked perfectly.

Looks like a page bug to me.
