Form focus state

Is the focus state of a form field still available with the JQuery validation? It's not working for my forms.

No, the Jquery validation does not offer changing the element style on focus.

The corresponding styles are still generated when I create a form with DA...

Will this functionallity come back with the next version?

Those where styles used by the Spry framework.

you can add a product suggestion to have it considered for a future version:

Yeah I know, but nothing happens when I suggest for a new function, so I don't post anything there anymore ...

Posting a suggestion does not mean it will be added immediately.

Our developers use the suggestion page for insight on features that users would like to see added when planning for a new upgrade.

The inclusion of query validation instead of using Spry validation was a direct result of the suggestion being made on the suggestion page. . .

If you decide not to make any new suggestions, it is more than likely that features you would like to see included will not be included, unless another user makes the suggestion for you.

The suggestions page is your tool to communicate with the developers.

Dear Jason

I requested JQuery validation a very long time ago and the answer was that as long as Adobe is still having spry in DW nothing will be changed. But Spry was already dead at that point. Also regarding a new modern data table, the answer was that you were waiting for the JQuery UI table being realized and WA doesn't want to reinvent the wheel. Nothing is happening there for years. Why are there no smaller update/upgrade steps of your products?

Having this suggestion tool now is a nice thing but without feedback from your developers I don't think it's very customer friendly at the end. Why don't you give a feedback on our wishes? Like a "under consideration" or "will be implemented" flag? There are many entries that are similar and good ideas might be lost because user don't vote for them thinking that it's already in a similar suggestion.

I'd be glad to support you (I will make more suggestions) but there should also be a discussion not only a one-way communication. I don't even know if my/our suggestions are being read by the developers by now or how many votes are needed until a suggestion will be implemented.

What about publishing a developer roadmap of the functions that will be implemented? That would be great to have.

But your support is still the best around the internet, keep up the great work ;-) !!
