Using Dreamweaver 13.2 rev 6466 on Mac Lion: upgrade to eCart6 and DataBridge 1.1.9 not working

I uninstalled the older versions —eCart 5 and DataBridge 1.1.4. Installed the latest eCart6.06 and DataBridge1.1.9. At first, it seemed eCart installed but the cart selector was grayed out, and all references were to eCart 5. DataBridge 1.1.9 wasn't able to be called on with any insert method into a basic .PHP file.
Tried:
• Layout resets
• Uninstall and reinstall
• removing the .dat file
• removing stuck/dated WA_Installer installed/mxi and installing/xml files

Nothing works. Any solutions or step orders I've missed?

Try recreating the users configuration folder as outlined in step 12 of the Adobe troubleshooting guide:

http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/troubleshoot-javascript-errors-dreamweaver-cs4.html

The in the extension manager, uninstall the extensions, and install them again.

Make sure you install the Server Behaviors panel extension first:
http://www.webassist.com/tutorials/Server-behaviors-for-Dreamweaver-Creative-Cloud

after that one is installed, open DW and close it before installing the others.

after installing eCart and Data Bridge to the extension manager, open DW and a PHP page start the WebAssist installer. When the WebAssist installer completes, don't forget to restart DW.

Hi. Thanks.
Uhm. I've tried 7 times at this point, adding possibly silly variations after the initial standard try —things like closing Extension Manager each time after the two installs, or restarting the computer.

What happens that is different from your description of the process is that the modal (?) window of WebAssist's finishing installer starts BEFORE I can open up a .php page (although a page might be opening automatically behind the greeting screen). DataBridge goes though the 1-2-3 stages, then eCart6 goes through the 1-2-3 stages. I click DONE and restart. This last time I tried, I at least got a response after selecting the DataAssist Wizard (see attached pic). Just mousing over the drop-down selector for eCart produces the same javascript error (see above, initial pic).

I tried removing a non-WebAssist extension, and doing the WebAssist installs several times. Made no difference.

My method exactly was:
1) Uninstall all extensions
2) Rename the configurations folder
3) Install Deprecated Server Behaviors 1.0
4) Open DW then quit DW
5) Install eCart6 first, then DataBridge 1.1.9 second —one immediately after the other
6) Open DW and watch the install finishes. Quit DW.
7) Reopen DW. Try to use a WebAssist product within DW.

I have DW preferences to open php pages by default.

Can't think of any other details. What should I try next?

Thank you.

This was a problem caused by using an apostrophe in the Mac OS hard drive name.
