Sounds like the Web Assist installer has been run to complete the installation.

After installing the eCart ZXP file, you need to open Dreamweaver, then open a PHP page to start the web Assist installer and complete the installation.

Try closing Dreamweaver. then open the extension manager and uninstall eCart, then install it again.

Open DW and a PHP To start the WebAssist installer, then restart DW.
