That error is referring to eCart 6 code, but you say you have eCart 5?

did you have eCart 6 installed at one time?

try uninstalling eCart 5 from the extension manager then reinstalling it. also, Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:

I do not have ecart 6. Never purchased it. I installed only ecart 5.0.7 for the first time (no previous ecart extensions were installed).

Yes I have cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the eCart extension and I still get the same error. I use also the latest DataBridge and latest DesignExtender. I need the eCart to work for me. You help is greatly appreciated.

With Data Bridge and design Extender, eCart 5 must be installed first.

make sure you have the correct install Order:
eCart5, then design extender and Data Bridge.

if you have installed eCart5 after Design Extender or Data Bridge, you should uninstall all 3 then reinstall eCart 5 first.

Hello Jason,

I followed the exact steps you have recommended but I still get the same error message when I try to create an ecart object. Please help me as I am in time constraint here.
