Grey area around map and marker not in centre of map

I have a small map that when i click the map shows a larger map. The maps both do not have the marker in the centre of the map and the large version has a large amount of grey around it.

How can I centre the marker and get rid of the grey?

directory_listing.php

just try the top sun as the other has another problem to another post re repeat regions and maps

regiontest.php

this one is simpler and stripped down. should show lots of names with a map for each.
