Failed Redirect with an HTML anchor

I am using WA Server validations, and would;d like upon failure to send the user back to the form on the page (a relatively long page, so would like to send them to an anchor tag).

Anchor is setup as:
<a id="formstart"></a>

Failed redirect is setup as:
index.php"."&#formstart

Problem…
The user is redirected to
index.php%23formstart

Not sure how to fix.

use this for the failed redirect:

index.php#formstart

theres no need to over complicate it with the ampersand and concatenation characters, keep it simple.

Yeah, thats what i originally did…

If i put in: index.php#formstart the result of a failed redirect in the address bar is as follows:

/contact/index.php%23formstart and i get a 404 error.

It wants to change the # to %23

How to get around this?

I'll need to troubleshoot directly, see the private message section.

in the webassist/form_validations/wavt_scripts_php.php file i changed line 71:

header("Location: ". $thePostURL);

to:

$thePostURL = str_replace("%23","#",$thePostURL);
header("Location: ". $thePostURL);

Jason,

That seems to have worked.

Appreciate the quick response.
