credit card graphics on checkout page?

We're using PayPal Payments Pro and we're based in the UK.
When we get to checkout, to enter billing and shipping information, there are some credit card icons displayed but not ALL of the credit/debit cards that are accepted by PayPal. Can we change these or are they built in to the Wizard?

Thank you.

the cc logos are an image served by paypal:

<img border="0" alt="PayPal Acceptance Mark" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/webstatic/mktg/Logo/AM_SbyPP_mc_vs_ms_ae_UK.png">

you can see other paypal logos available for the UK here:
https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/logo-center

and substitute the src with the one you wish to use.

There are two options Jason...

Visa / MasterCard / American Express / Discover (first radio button)
and
PayPal (along with all the PayPal card icons)

Why are there two options for payment when we've selected PayPal Payments Pro in the wizard?

"Why are there two options for payment when we've selected PayPal Payments Pro in the wizard?"

because PayPal pro is 2 services:

1) PayPal Direct Payments
2) Paypal Express Checkout.

How do I display the correct payment card graphics for the PayPal Direct Payments option?
I assume the steps you gave me previously were for the PayPal Express Checkout side?

Thank you.

on the checkout page:
the card options are a image:

The images are referenced as follows for the PayPal Direct Payment option:
<img align="absmiddle" style="margin-right:5px" src="webassist/ecart/images/cc_visa.gif" alt="Visa" id="accept_cc_visa">
<img align="absmiddle" style="margin-right:5px" src="webassist/ecart/images/cc_mastercard.gif" alt="Mastercard" id="accept_cc_mastercard">
<img align="absmiddle" style="margin-right:5px" src="webassist/ecart/images/cc_amex.gif" alt="American Express" id="accept_cc_amex">
<img align="absmiddle" style="margin-right:5px" src="webassist/ecart/images/cc_discover.gif" alt="Discover" id="accept_cc_discover">

The link you've provided to the UK PayPal logos is only for the PayPal Express Checkout option. I'm trying to change the PayPal direct payments option.

Also, relating to the checkout page, if I want to limit the countries that can be selected, we will only be dispatching to UK addresses, do I have to hand code that? (delete all of the countries I don't need?)

Thank you.

you will need to add additional images for the other cards manually

to limit the countries, you will need to remove them from the select list.

It would be nice if all of the card graphics were uniform - if PayPal accept payment by them then it's odd that they don't provide graphics for them. What a pain. :(

Regarding the country drop-down, will I break anything if I move the "State" field above the "Country"? I'm happy for it just to be a text input field as opposed to a dynamic dependent drop down although that might come at a later stage.

Thanks again.

I dont believe it will break anything to move the state field.
