variables not sending

whats going on is I have a form that sends information to the database then emails it out. Im trying to get it to send a link that has the id in the url and nothing is working. i have tried the filter id = url paramater. when I do that all shows up is blank areas. I have tried all the options and nothing works if it dont filter any entries then it only shows up the first entry not the one beening send. thanks
