Unable to active Paypal buttons extension

I cannot enter the serial number ... when clicking on the input field, it does not select, and when I attempt to cancel, it freezes, and I have to force-quit Dreamweaver! This is very frustrating. I have purchased several of your products and they seem great, but are very 'buggy' and I am tremendously slowed down by trying to deal with issues after purchasing your products to SAVE TIME. Any help?

I am using Dreamweaver CS6 on a MacBook Pro

What version of free tools is it?

You should be using free Tools version 1.0.9 in Dw CS6, make sure you have the correct version. If you have a previous version you will need to uninstall it from the extension manager and install the most recent.

after installing the extension, you will need to open DW, then open a php page to start the webassist installer, after the web assist installer completes, make sure to restart DW before trying to use it.


also, reset the workspace layout:
go to Window -> Work Space layout -> Reset '<your layout name>'

and Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:

I am using the latest vesion (according to your website) and I have now done all that you suggested. The serial number is not being accepted as valid. Seriously ...

i dont follow, it sounded like you said initially you couldn't enter the serial number?

now it sounds like you can enter the serial number but it is not being accepted?

Please provide a Skype username or a US phone number and a good time to contact you when you will be in front of your computer and we will have an engineer contact you to resolve this issue over the phone.

We are available Monday - Friday from 9am - 4pm EST (except major U.S. holidays).

That is correct. Before I followed your suggestions, the problem was as I described it. After following your instructions, I can type in the serial #, but it is not being accepted as valid. I also tried copying and pasting the numbers. Same negative result.

I just tried calling but was directed to voicemail.

you should copy and paste the serial number rather than try to type it.

you can copy the entire serial string, then paste it to the first box of the activation screen, it will automatically break up the numbers.

When you copy the serial number, be careful not to select any leading or trailing spaces.
