How do I create password validation requirements when using the Security Assist interface. Security Assist > Create Security Pages?

How do I create password validation requirements when using the Security Assist interface. Security Assist > Create Security Pages?

I want to require passwords to consist of at least 8 characters including 1 capital letter, 2 numbers, and 1 special character. When using the wizard, if I select the user password database field and display it as a "password" there are no validation options, therefore no way to create any requirements. I am stuck. Where can I go from here?

That cant be done in the wizard, you need to add that functionality after the pages are created.

go to webAssist -> Forms -> Jquery validation. on the field settings tab, select the password field, for the pattern, select the Password (Upper case/ lower case / Number / special) option.

Password Validation

I am still trying to create password validation requirements, but not having any success

1. I opened my registration page

2. I went to webAssist > Forms> at that point I get a drop down menu with the following options
Insert New Form
Validation
HTML Editor
Progress Bar
Insert Captcha
Insert Datepcker
Insert File Manager

3. I clicked on Validation and got another drop down menu with the following options
Server Validation
Validation Show if

I do not see an option for Jquery or any field setting tabs. Where did I go wrong?

make sure you are using the latest version of Data Bridge (1.1.8) to create the security assist pages. it sounds like you are using a previous version.

Password Validation Problem

I do have the latest version of Data Bridge - version (1.1.8). I had to upgrade to eCart 6 before I could get the Jquery option on the Form drop down list.
However, I still cannot create a valid registration page because WebAssist will not enforce the password pattern I have selected. I have tested this numerous times and cannot get it to work. I am at a total loss. What do you suggest?

I'll need to troubleshoot directly, see the private message section.
