Retrieve the recipients email from the form

I have been using the new version of universal email but it may not work as before. Previously you could choose the recipient email address from data-bindings. But these email addresses are not visible anymore. Has it anything with HTML5 email to do. Now you have to choose this when building your forms - it seems. I don't know how to get the email-adress which to send. I have tried to make at least two different forms, and there the forms must be sent to the client. Sometimes it works (the email-field appears on the bindings), but rarely.

make sure the email address form element uses the text type:

type="text"

hmm. So why is there a choice for email then? Just a question.

That is a choice that DW offers, but will not be recognized by the bindings panel.

you can always change it back to email after using the binding in UE.

I am a graphic designer basically, and sometimes you wonder why programmers are so weird. This is proof. Sorry if I'm being sarcastic!

So if there a way to change it from HTML5 email first or do I need to remake it?

select the form element on the page, then go to code view and change:
type="email"

to:
type="text"
