Send form results not built in?

Is it me or does it seem odd not to have the send form results not built into a form builder...?
Perhaps the sales page should outline that a second program (Universal Email) will be necessary to automate the send form process.

I believe it breaks the K.I.S.S theory not to have this built into the application.

I like web assist apps but sometimes I wonder about the thought R&D process.

Building the form should be easier through out the process as some other form creation apps are.

Since forms can be used for many purposes and not just for emailing, this functionality is not currently included in Form Builder. As the product name suggests, this product is for building the form, not handling the information after the form is submitted. It may be added in the future. I will put in a feature request for this and it may be added to a future release.

I seond that request

Just purchased the form builder today and was mildly surprised to find it didn't come with a few form handlers to either email or drop the data into a .csv file.

I understand it's a "Form Builder" but just like when I buy a car I still expect to get tires with it even though it not called "A car With tires." I guess it's just implied.

I know how to make it process to a .php or .pl file but it adds another step to the process which for me is all about automating as much as possible. Also, in the documentation under "Specifying an action page" you may want to elaborate as it was pretty vague.

You also might want to offer a few links to free scripts people can use to process the forms and it would be nice to have a 'success page' feature built in along with a few more design theme options that are more in sync with the rest of your css products.

These are just suggestions and a positive critique of the product and I hope you take it as such. I wouldn't take the time to write this if i didn't like your products overall and your company.

Thanks for your consideration and for some awesome products over the years. :-)

I will bring these suggestions to the development/documentation team. Hopefully a future release of the product will have more of these requested features.

where is the form sending feature?

ok, so I have waited on support to even look at my issue for days and now come to find out there is no form sending.

Since this is my first webassist purchase, i'll hold off on judgement until further usage.

So far, the tech support or lack there of is not inspiring.
