Data assist pages details page

I'm getting an error on my detail page for a featured product section. Here is the error I'm getting:

MySQL Error#: 1064

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE 0 = 1' at line 2

What do I need to do to resolve this issue.

Thanks,

the query:

SELECT id, Featured1, ProductThumb, ProductCartDesc, ProductName, ProductCartDesc, ProductPrice FROM WHERE id = Paramid

does not include the table name. it should be:
SELECT id, Featured1, ProductThumb, ProductCartDesc, ProductName, ProductCartDesc, ProductPrice FROM products WHERE id = Paramid

assuming the table is named products

Thanks that seem to fix that issue but now I get this error:

Unknown column 'id' in 'field list'

that means the table does not contain a column named id.

Great that fixed it. But I have another issue that I hope you can help me with.

I need the details page to automatically populate with the product that is designated as 'featured1". Not sure what I need to do the accomplish this. Is this something you can help me with? Or is there a tutorial I can use?

how is the product being designated as featured1?

I need more details on how the database is set up.

you don't answer my question:

how is the product being designated as featured1?
