PHP error on email from Unviersal email - re: Warning: date() [function.date]:
This just started when my web host upgraded their servers. Coming up with the following errors in emails from most of my sites.
Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Los_Angeles' for 'PDT/-7.0/DST' instead in /home/*****/public_html/webassist/email/templates/Blank.php on line 34
3:25 AM PDT
It repeats this error several times. I know the function is a deprecated function but dont know how to fix it. I saw the post from 2010 but this seems to be a different file. This error is pointing to a file in the templates directory in all my sites that are having problems. They have been working correctly for several years.
Do I need to totally recreate the pages. I would rather just edit the existing ones if that is possible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Gary.
